Shimano 600 Brakes Diagram Fix The Brake Cable?

Fix the brake cable? - shimano 600 brakes diagram

hello all,
I have a Schwinn Super Le Tour since 1979, so many things. Last week I was release the brakes and when I pulled the lever (Shimano 600 brake levers), the cable came out, and I do not understand how it is again, how can I solve this problem?

Here is a picture of the problem:

If you are on the brake lever in a small metal rod you will see a hole in it. This pin turns the handle. If you look closely, you will see there is a slit on one side of him. You need to have sufficient brake cable in the caliper release (the bits of the frame is firmly against the rim of the wheel) and fed through the hole in the top of the bell on the handle and the gear beyond themselves PIN. If you have enough to pass from the nipple at the end of the cable into the lock, turn the spigot on the case until it lets you put the cable through it. Then pull the cable back into place and the female side of the pin. Make sure the sheet is rotated so that the niche of female nipple at the end of the cable has failed to receive. Otherwise, the cable does not believe in force.
Now you can take the cable back through the screw in the clamp and tighten.
You have to turn but the break to run good bet. There are several ways of adapting to the relay.
This is very long term, I know. ButIt is hard to describe without showing the possibility.
I suggest you take the opportunity to take your bike to a good shop and ask for the fine tuning of the mechanical brake to be seen.
Not worth the risk and the risk of injury.

Hello. Loosen the adjustment to get the caliper to the hole from participating in the drive.

The end of the wheel over the cable into the rotation to the operational leverage. Check out the left lever indices. It will also solve the end of the brake cable to give more flexibility to the cable on the lever again. Good luck!
