Norton Security Online (provided by Rogers Yahoo) won't start scan!!!? - norton security for rogers

I think that another family member started to run a recording to an ad, is a virus installed on my computer. No direct effects are visible, but my computer is much slower.

I've tried a scan Norton (I have Norton Security Online provided by Rogers Yahoo!) Online Protection. I've tried a full scan. He started (the mouse icon) to load, then quits loading. Then nothing happened. I tried several times, and then restart the computer, but exploration is not started. Please help!
